CHALLENGE
A founder in Alberta engaged Mammoth to develop the concept for his latest venture, a premium frozen dessert company. The new brand and packaging had to be designed with a community-focused, flagship location in mind; as well as, packaged in a way that would support rapid expansion into growth markets throughout Alberta.
Approach and Solution
Before work could begin on the brand identity, a comprehensive brand strategy was developed that mapped out the competitive landscape to determine the positioning strategy, and form the brand foundation. We also tapped into the founder’s charismatic character and ‘Oprah energy’, translating his vibe into a commercial personification for the brand, which heavily influenced the bright colour palette and cute and cheeky brand attitude. With a clear direction for design, we built a complete brand asset package to enable a smooth launch.
