About The Position

As a Web Designer (or Frontend Developer), you combine the art of design with the art of programming. We need you to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how a website looks as well as how it works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements
  • Develop website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
  • Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the website
  • Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test website related code
  • Creating and walking through responsive Wireframes/Prototypes
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Stay current with online trends and best practices

Requirements & Skills

  • Strong CSS and HTML knowledge (Javascript and PHP are an asset)
  • Strong background in Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the Web
  • A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Project management for multiple and competing priorities
  • 1-2 year(s) of related experience

About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Digital Communications Specialist. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate complicated ideas effectively, have hands-on experience in social media management, content management systems, be data-driven with an emphasis on storytelling, oh… and fun to work with! 

Confidence, accountability and an action-oriented attitude are keys to success in this position!

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day content creation on all digital properties and forecast using an editorial calendar.
  • Support the team with coordination, creation, organization and delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Handle all social media administration and coordination for various clients across multiple platforms. This includes daily writing, editing, publishing, and updating content on the pages.
  • Collaboratively recommend strategy, planning and execution of digital initiatives through both direct and indirect channels.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and partner companies to develop content and other digital assets.
  • Assist in the development of product strategies to elevate brand awareness, enhance product positioning and deliver value-add materials to digital channels.
  • Produce regular reporting on user accounts and project status.
  • Manage tracking and reporting using Google Analytics.
  • Coordinate and attend events to capture content as needed.
  • Stay current with online trends and best practices, including online marketing techniques, site/user experience optimization, social media, metrics/measurement and conversion techniques.

Requirements & Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
  • Time management for multiple and competing priorities
  • Creative writing and/or social media community building
  • Experience with social media software/management tools 
  • Experience with Google Analytics, AdWords (Google Suite Certification is an asset)
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
  • Experience with content management systems
  • 1-2 year(s) of related experience
